I'm too worn out to blog today. Research continues. The struggle is on. Expectations are high -- read the article, take notes in your own words, record the MLA citation.
Homework is crucial at this point. It is impossible to get all work done in class. Finishing at home will play an important role in the ability to transition to the next marking period.
I have simplified the assignments. I must remember that 8th graders are 13-14 years old, impulsive, self-focused --at times -- and quite needy.
Having ample energy will help me demonstrate patience which is in demand daily.
